I was trawling through some of the forum posts, when I decided to read the article "Abortion is murder" as it had around 190 posts, in the category "politics" (a new one for me!). I got part way through the first page, then commented on someone elses comment because in my sleep deprived state I had failed to notice that there were 3 more pages.... I then went ahead and read it all, and now looking back at the time of my original comment, it took me over an hour to read the lot! It is actually an interesting debate on various controversial subjects, which starts off condemning abortion as (you guessed it) murder. It then goes onto taxes, and the bible, and God, and gay sex. And I think it mentions marriage of inanimate objects at some point! All in all though, I would recommend it for an interesting read, and it certainly made me want to post on the thread.
Being awake at 5am does not make for correct spelling whilst trying to type. The monitor is starting to hurt my eyes, but I think this is combination of the overhead crappy light with the monitor.
Sleep is not too long away, I hope!
Maybe I should pick a random topic to talk about... why do I bite the skin around my fingers? And once I've started, why do feel compelled to carry on until my fingers really hurt? There must be something going astray in the communications in my grey matter for something odd like that to happen, doncha think? I actually just looked at my finger again with the vague thought of seeing if there was more skin to chew! I need to stop...
Again, I'm really sorry CLG, but I'm still not up to date with Jamnia : ( I keep meaning to go and read it but I get distracted, and then find I have run out of time. I like to read each post in one go, so it takes up a substantial part of my night shift (a bit like reading that debate!). I promise promise promise it's top of my list next time! It would be better if I had a full copy of it to read as a book ; ) lol
Anyway, I value your comments as usual. Maybe I should take a leaf out of another commentors post (sorry, can't remember the name) and start a thread about something wild just to get the points!!
I believe that we have a right to make out pets touch each other in a naughty way whilst rubbing ourselves with vaseline for our own pleasure...
All teenagers should be given free cigarettes (along with free contraception)... lol
